I'm Paula Cuántica, a professional illustrator from Barcelona that grew up and lives in Seville.
I've worked with variety of clients worldwide as SM Puerto Rico or Principia Kids (a science magazine for children) and also with private clients, giving life and color to their stories.

My focus is kidlit illustration – I have a great time creating fun, sometimes quirky, characters in fantastic places full of joy and color.
I'm currently taking steps to become also an author. I have several stories written that I hope will be published soon.
My goal through my stories is to create a safe environment for little ones where they can explore emotions and have fun at the same time.
Although I have mainly worked with Procreate and digital painting software, I'm returning to traditional techniques; I am fascinated by using acrylic markers, gouache, and colored pencils.

I'm also an art teacher at a creative art studio, working with both children and adults letting them free the creativity and explore new universes through drawing and painting.
Apart from illustrating, my interests are healthy cooking, reading books on psychology and personal growth, and I'm a huge fan of board games (I'd love to illustrate board games someday).
If I wasn’t an illustrator I'd probably open a Board Game cafe where you can have some delicious coffee or tea with healthy sweets while playing your favorite board game with friends, a great way to socialize and have fun.
