Paula Cuántica is a professional illustrator from Seville.
She’s worked with SM Puerto RicoFreepik, Canva, Principia Kids (a science magazine for children) and a variety of international clients, giving life and colour to their stories. Her focus is kidlit illustration – she loves working with narrative and is writing and illustrating several picture books of her own.
Paula mainly works digitally, using Procreate and Illustrator, but she also employs traditional techniques such as watercolor, inks, and acrylics. She likes to include happy colors, quirky characters and fantastic worlds in her work, inspired by her love of science fiction, surrealism, and comedy.
She is also a teacher at a creative art studio, working with both children and adults helping them explore new universes through drawing and painting.
She studied at the EASD Pau Gargallo school of art in Barcelona. Apart from illustrating, Paula’s interests are healthy cooking, reading books on psychology and personal growth, roller skating and tarot. If she wasn’t an illustrator she’d open a Cat Café, serving healthy cakes to fellow cat-lovers in the day, and putting on cultural events in the evening.
